Rice Krispie treats with coconut, shaped into nests and filled with jelly beans.
Ingredients
4 tablespoons butter
4 cups marshmallows
5 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1/2 cup shredded coconut
jelly beans
Directions
- Line a baking sheet with waxed paper. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies and coconut, stir until thoroughly mixed. On the prepared baking sheet, shape mixture into sixteen 3-inch rounds, making an indentation in the center of each round so that it makes a nest shape. (Wetting your hands before touching this mixture helps prevent sticking). Put the baking sheet in the refrigerator and chill the nests thoroughly. Fill cooled nests with jelly beans.
