Fun and inexpensive craft for kids. Not for eating!
Ornamental Cookies
Ornamental cookies are used as decorations on Christmas trees or strung up as garlands. In general, these are not meant to be eaten. Make sure to read the recipe carefully, because although some of these are edible, some contain glue or glitter and are not meant for human consumption! These decorative cookies will generally last several years if allowed to properly dry and packed carefully, although that will depend on the humidity level where you live. Try one of the ornamental cookie recipes below for this years’ holiday decorating, and if you think we’re missing something, please submit your recipe here!
