Ingredients

  • 1 (10.5-ounce) bag of miniature marshmallows

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies

  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter

Directions

  • Grease a 9×13 pan and set aside. In large glass mixing bowl, place butter/margarine and marshmallows. Microwave for 3 minutes. Stir well, then add peanut butter stirring constantly. Add rice krispies coating well. Pour mixture into greased pan and pat out to the edges and smooth the top. Let stand for 10 minutes. Cut into squares.

These are very yummy treats when i first found this recipe i was looking somethin up for my aunt we made them and they are so good i think we will us these every christmas!!!!!

I've done different variations of this recipe. One time I substituted the peanut butter with maple syrup. Another time it was with melted chocolate. It's all good.

I loved this but i made it with 1/3 a stick of Butter instead to make it less greasy. And eliminate the ick at the bottom of pan.

These are GREAT! Quick and easy! I made them to take to a picnic. Everyone loved them. I had to make another batch because I didn't get any. Try making them with cocoa krispies. They go even faster.

I love this recipe. It was simple easy to make and took about 20 minute out of my day. Another nice thing you can do to add to the wonderful recipe is add some melted chocolate on top to make peanut butter chocolate cripsy yum!
