A rich blondie with chopped nuts and butterscotch chips.
Ingredients
6 tablespoons shortening
1-1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 cup butterscotch morsels
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F. Cream shortening and sugar, add the rest in given order. Grease a 9″ x 13″ baking pan. Pour batter into pan, and bake 25 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes and then cut into squares.
