Chocolate and peanut butter combine to make a creamy treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 ounce) bag of Wilton candy melts (butterscotch, light cocoa, mint, dark chocolate – any flavor works)

  • 1 cup peanut butter, creamy or crunchy

  • about 50 small paper or foil candy cups

  • chocolate chips, candy coated chocolate morsels (such as M&Ms), colored sprinkles, chopped nuts, or sea salt, for decoration

Directions

  • In the top of a double boiler over hot (not boiling) water, melt one bag of candy melts. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until melted and mixture is smooth. Pour melted mixture into individual candy cups (small paper or foil). Top each cup with a chocolate chip, candy coated chocolate morsel, sprinkles, chopped nuts or sea salt. Let harden then store in a cool place.

I think that these are wonderfully easy to make and inexpensive, which really is important in today's world. I watched people roll their eyes with pleasure as they ate them. The yeild for me was 50 when I made them in the foil candy cups that look like very little muffin cups.
