Send to a friendA richly scented ornamental cookie. These would be fabulous decorating a christmas tree, but don't try to eat them!
Mix cinnamon and glue. Gradually add the water. Stir until a ball of dough forms. Roll out with rolling pin 1/4 inch thick and cut with cookie cutters. Poke a hole and let dry at room temperature for 1 to 2 days, turning over every 6-8 hours. If desired, decorate with white Royal Icing. Hang with ribbon and enjoy the fragrance!
Note: Yield depends on how big your cookie cutters are.

How adorable are these? We had a blast making these. Just beware, add the water slowly. I, like a numbskull, dumped it all in at once. Then again, having to add more cinnamon increased the batch. So it wasn't all bad. Now my house smells wonderful and looks even more festive!

This recipe was great. My students and I made two batches and made tons of ornaments for our Christmas tree. The smell was heavenly for a few days. I liked the fact that we did not have to use applesauce (we ate that!). Instead of icing, we painted them and put glitter in the glue to dry. They were beautiful.

Very easy and rewarding, they smell great. Barely any clean up too! I rolled them in between wax paper, and it worked great.

I make these every year with my kids. They are easy to make and smell wonderful. Only add water a little at a time and they turn out great!
