Snowflakes

Makes about 66

1 cup butter
1 3-ounce package cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon grated orange zest
2 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 F. Cream together butter, cream cheese and sugar. Beat in egg yolk, vanilla and orange zest. Sift together flour, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually blend flour mixture into butter mixture. Fill cookie press. Form cookies on ungreased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with colored sugar, if desired. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Remove at once to cooling racks.

Would make this again.
I have been making this recipe since 1964-I got the recipe in a mirro cooky press that I ordered for some promotion-I have little money so it must have been really reasonable-we love it-I only make it at Christmas time as a special treat. five stars

I realy liked them.But there was too much of something, It was ether too much ornge-peal or too much whole-wheat I am writing this whell I am eating one soIrealy know what It tastes like.So have fun baking them! four stars

I liked them alot but they get bad after you eat them for awhile three stars
