Preheat oven to 350 F. Cream together butter, cream cheese and sugar. Beat in egg yolk, vanilla and orange zest. Sift together flour, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually blend flour mixture into butter mixture. Fill cookie press. Form cookies on ungreased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with colored sugar, if desired. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Remove at once to cooling racks.

Would not make this again.
The dough was very sticky! I tried adding some flour, which helped a little. Our cookies did not look good, but I'll admit they did taste good! :) I will probably try a different Cream Cheese recipe next time.

Light, flavor-filled, wonderful little cookies. Mine were a bit sticky as well, but I live in Georgia and the humidity is constant. So to defeat that I put the mix in the fridge for about 10 minutes and fill the press, then put back what I'm not using.

Would make this again.
I always do my spritz first, in a cold kitchen, before the oven is going and I find that it works best. They do not do well with any kind of grease on your cookie pans. So the night before give them a good cleaning with a brillo pad. My family also knows that they are noto to spray my cookie sheets. The build up is hard to get rid of.
