I love this sugar cookie, it holds the shape of even the most intricate cookie cutter. I have been very successful in adding different extracts for added flavor such as almond, lemon even anise.

I thought these cookies were really easy to work with, and the cookie dough was delicious. However, once they were cooked, they tasted really bland, like something was missing.

This is my first time making Christmas sugar cookies, on my own. The recipe was easy to follow. The dough was extremely easy to work with. of course I had to try the cookies when they came out of the oven. These are definitely the best tasting sugar cookies I ever had!! I decided to adopt the recipe for years to come and not just for christmas!!!

Excellent recipe. Much better and easier to work with then other recipes I've tried that call for 8oz of cream cheese.....tastier too!

This is the third year in a row that I've made these and I will continue until I can't anymore. My mother-in-law who is a die hard sugar cookie fan asked me to make 3 batches of these for her this year. Also a good option if you want a little more "tang" to your cookie which helps even out the extra sweetness that is added when you frost them. Dough will be sticky...refrigerate well and flour your surface well and you won't have a problem. My family's new favorite!
