An updated, tropical take on the traditional hot mulled cider recipe.
Ingredients
4 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
1 12-ounce can apricot nectar
2 cups apple cider
1 cup orange juice
6 inches stick cinnamon, broken
1 teaspoon whole cloves
4 cardamom seeds, crushed
additional whole cinnamon sticks, for garnish (optional)
Directions
- Combine ingredients. Heat to boiling, simmer 15 to 20 minutes. If desired, garnish each mug with a whole cinnamon stick when serving. Serve hot.
