A sweet, creamy coffee recipe with mocha ice cream, Amaretto and toffee chips. This can be served hot or cold, depending on the season and your inclinations!


  • 2 cups mocha ice cream

  • 3 cups coffee (hot or cold, you decide!)

  • 1/2 cup butterscotch or caramel topping

  • 8 teaspoons almond liqueur such as Amaretto, or 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

  • whipped cream or topping such as Cool Whip

  • 4 tablespoons toffee chips or chopped toffee candy bar

  • 4 large coffee mugs


  • Spoon 1/2 cup of ice cream into each coffee mug. Pour 3/4 cups coffee, 2 tablespoons butterscotch topping and 2 teaspoons almond liqueur (or 1/8 teaspoon extract) over ice cream. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle of toffee chips.

I'm not sure if it good or not. My husband liked it but I really didn't. It was ok and had a rich sharp taste. I liked it but there are better recipes. And it was really unusal. You wouldn't a recipe like this anywhere. I only made it because I like toffee!
