This is the best "Russian Tea Cake" cookie dough I have ever worked with and taste is excellent also. I will save this receipt!

I made these cookies for a class project on Russia 10 (!!!) years ago and have been making them ever since. This is the only recipe I've used, and it has never failed me. My classmates and family would beg me to make them, and now they are a staple at Christmas time in my family.

Love these cookies. I make them every year for Chritmas and many other times. Good with a candied cherry in the middle of the dough balls. They just melt in your mouth.

Fabulous, melt-in-your-mouth cookies. I too use pecans as well as walnuts. Perfect to dip in your tea/hot cocao!
