Delicious dense Peanut Butter Brownies topped with a layer of chocolate and a drizzle of peanut butter goodness.

Ingredients

  • For the bars:
  • 1/2 cup buttter, softened

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/3 cup peanut butter

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • For the topping:
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

  • 2 tablespoons milk


Directions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 F. In a mixing bowl add butter and sugars and cream well. Blend in egg, peanut butter, baking soda, salt and vanilla. Add flour and oats and mix well. Spread in buttered 9″ x 13″ baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle one cup chocolate chips on top. When melted spread evenly. Mix remaining powdered sugar, peanut butter and milk together in a separate bowl and drizzle on top. You may need to add a little more milk to make this of drizzling consistency.
