Semi-sweet, milk and white chocolate chips with pecans and walnuts to boot. In short, the kitchen sink!
Ingredients
1 cup butter or margarine, at room temperature
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon almond extract
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1-1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
1-1/2 cups vanilla or white chips
1-1/2 cups chopped pecans
1-1/2 cups chopped walnuts
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in almond extract. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Combine chips and nuts. Stir into dough. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or to handle. Pre-heat oven to 350F and grease baking sheets. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2″ apart onto prepared baking sheets and bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
