Makes about 24

1/2 cup butter, softened
1-1/2 ounce cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
Sprinkles or colored sugars (optional)

Preheat oven to 375 F. Beat butter and cream cheese in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds. Add sugar and vanilla; beat till combined. Stir in flour. Pack dough into a cookie press. Force dough through press onto ungreased cookie sheets. Top with sprinkle decorations, if desired. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges of cookies are firm but not brown. Allow to cool on baking sheet one minute then remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Would not make this again.
I love cream cheese everything but this wasn't a good use of it. Butter spritz cookies are far better. 2 stars

Would not make this again.
This is nothing more than flavored flour dust. Nothing to hold it together. Can\\\'t pack it into a press. Waste of time! 1 star

Would make this again.
Very simple recipe. The 1.5 ounces of cream cheese is not a typo...it's JUST enough to give the cookies a bit of a flavor and a soft texture. This works very well with my cookie press, no problems. 5 stars
