Muddy Buddies
Makes about 99 cups Chex cereal (any variety)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Place cereal in large bowl. Place chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter in medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in high for 1 1/2 minutes or until mixture is smooth when stirred. Stir in vanilla. Pour chocolage mixture over cereal, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Pour mixture into large plastic bag with powdered sugar; shake until all pieces are coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator. Makes about 9 cups.

these are amazing. i'm only 14 and me and my best friend have been making them since we were younginss :] I'm doing a school project on these! Anyways, yes they are amazing. I love them.

My kids and I just made these for the first time definitely won't be the last, love love love..can't wait to take some of this to work tomorrow, we are always looking for ymuumy snack ideas.

LOVE this recipe!!! My daughter made this at a kids cooking class and I thought it was excellent!!! Highly recommended for making with the kids.

my mother use to make something similar but it was called puppy chow. I tried this and it is really good. Will make it again for all types of entertaing and as a sweet snack while watching t.v.

My friend and I make these all the time! We absolutely love them. I've heard some of our friends call it Dog Food. We just call it Muddy Buddies.
