Send to a friendDelicious dense Peanut Butter Brownies topped with a layer of chocolate and a drizzle of peanut butter goodness.
Makes about 24
For the bars:
1/2 cup buttter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup rolled oats
For the topping:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
2-4 tbsp milk
Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
In a mixing bowl add butter and sugars and cream well. Blend in egg, peanut butter, baking soda, salt and vanilla. Add flour and oats and mix well.
Spread in buttered 9" x 13" baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle one cup chocolate chips on top. When melted spread evenly.
Mix remaining confectioner's sugar, peanut butter and milk together in a separate bowl and drizzle on top.

Would make this again.
I married my wife and her mother had this recipe. We make it every month. It is perfectly gooey and soft when you eat it. The crust at the end is also so delicious. It's great all around. I can't say enough about it. 5 stars
