1 c. peanut butter
2 cups raisins
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
1 cup light corn syrup
5 cup toasted Rice Krispies
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups rolled oats
Place peanut butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup in a large saucepan. Over medium-low heat, melt together until smooth. Stir in vanilla, raisins, peanuts, cereal, and oats. Mix well. Press into greased 13X9" baking dish. Allow to cool. Cut into bars. Wrap in foil.

Would make this again.
This recipe has all the things I like...its simple, fast, delicious and made of easy-to-get ingredients. Why, last wenesday I made up a batch with corn flakes in place of r.crispies. Who would ever deny the attributes of a recipe such as this? No one who's ever made it! Surely, even with modification, this here recipe is like aged wine...it keeps on getting better. 5 stars
