Great way to use up broken candy canes
1 pound white chocolate, chopped
3/4 cup crushed peppermint candy
1/2 teaspoon peppermint flavoring
In the top of a couble boiler over hot (not boiling) water, melt white chocolate. Stir in crushed candy and peppermint flavoring. Spread on wax paper and cool. When hard, break into pieces.

Very Good indeed. I also made with cherry choco pieces and it was amazing. The peppermint flavor was a bit much so you will want to use just a splash, unless you want to clear the sinus. LOL CAUTION may cause runny nose.

We make this every year. My daughter loves it and so do all the kids at School. The peppermint flavoring can be a bit to much, so we use just use a splash.

What a great idea, to make use of the broken candy canes. I am pre-trying christmas candy before the season is here. I agree with the less of the peppermint flavouring (just a splash) and may I suggest pouring the mixture into molds, It turned out great and looks great too.
