In the top of a couble boiler over hot (not boiling) water, melt white chocolate. Stir in crushed candy and peppermint flavoring. Spread on wax paper and cool. When hard, break into pieces.

We make this every year. My daughter loves it and so do all the kids at School. The peppermint flavoring can be a bit to much, so we use just use a splash. five stars

What a great idea, to make use of the broken candy canes. I am pre-trying christmas candy before the season is here. I agree with the less of the peppermint flavouring (just a splash) and may I suggest pouring the mixture into molds, It turned out great and looks great too. four stars
