Peanut Butter 'N Brickle Cookies


1 cup shortening
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 (7.5-ounce) package Heath Brand Bits 'O Brickle Almond Brickle Chips
1 (8-ounce) package of milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts

Pre-heat oven to 350 F. Beat together shortening, peanut butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Stir in flour, salt and baking soda; mix well. Stir in brickle, chocolate chips and walnuts. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a non-stick baking mat. Bake 10 minutes; do not overbake.

Would make this again.
These are great cookies, but don't be deceived by their appearance when you take them out. They'll look undercooked, but they finish cooking when they come out of the oven. But very very tasty! four stars
