Send to a friendI added a word to the dictionary during the Christmas Holidays--MomMoms Sugar Cookies: dough rolled out thinly on floured surface and cut with assorted Christmas shapes together with fun, laughter and love. Although MomMom has moved to heaven, as I roll and cut the same recipe along with the same cookie cutters, in the same kitchen the tradition started, the memories are etched in my thoughts. Thoughts of love and caring and MomMoms great smile with the bright twinkle of her eyes as she baked the best tasting sugar cookies ever made--in My Book, My Dictionary! Thank you MomMom! Instead of flour try using powdered sugar to roll out dough with.
it worked when I made doughnuts.

very yummy tasting cookie, however i did have some difficulty rolling out the dough even after refrigerating it overnight. the dough was quite sticky and i had to use quite a bit of extra flour, which made the cookies a little dryer than i would have liked.

You have to sprinkle it with a bit of flour to prevent the sticking, only a liitte bit.

The Reciepe was easy to follow, easy to make... except when I was rolling it out kept sticking to my rolling pin? Still tasted excellent though! :)
