Send to a friendA recipe I developed when I wanted chocolate chip cookies but not the guilt usually associated with them!
Makes about 30
Preheat oven to 375F. Blend butter & sugar until fluffy. Add egg & vanilla, mix until just combined. Add flour, bran, and baking powder in intervals. Stir in chocolate chips. Shape into 1-1/2" balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven, let cool for one minute and then transfer to wire rack. Allow cookie sheet to cool thoroughly before placing uncooked dough on it.

Would not make this again.
I really do not like these cookies. They are super dry and plain. I added peanut butter to the second half of the batter, so hopefully those have a bit more flavor.

I LOVE THEM and made them for Christmas last year and my whole family did too! I love them so much I'm giving them as part of my favors for my wedding along with the recipe!!! thanks!!!

Would not make this again.
I didn't like these as they seemed to be dry and tasteless. Although it was easy to make the dough, they were not a hit at our house.
