I tried this recently and did not like it at all. The cookie was mushy and spread a lot. Only whole wheat flour did not give a good texture to the cookie. I added some brown sugar and white flour to make it a little thicker. Took them to work. Not many good comments.

Quite delicious. The maple taste is not too overpowering and the pecans compliment nicely. It gives a nice change of pace with the light, cake-like consistency.

Good... not too sweet, but could've been more moist. Use a No. 2 amber maple syrup for a richer flavour. How about raisins?

Very good recipe, but I slightly increased the dates and added some brown sugar and vanilla. They came out great!
