Would make this again.
Nanaimo Bars are easy to make IF you follow recipe, have patience and can handle your appetite until done. These bars were made in the Klondike ( that's in the Yukon folks) long before they claimed the name "Nanaimo"...probably was a Klondiker who took her recipe south. Stores sell them with mint chocolate, and other fillings but this is the traditional recipe...Try them, you just might like them. 5 stars

Would make this again.
I have not made this recipe and cannot vouch for it, but I will be using it or a similar one to make them this xmas. (I live in Korea and haven't had any in over a year. @[email protected])

Having grown up in British Columbia where you can buy Nanaimo bars in
almost any bakery year round, I can
truthfully tell you they are very
fattenning and very tasty. They're
also not difficult to make (unless my
mother lied to me when I was a kid).

They're best served cold so the base doesn't crumble and the chocolate
doesn't melt. Plus, you can break
off the chocolate and eat it last. (There is a technique to it. ^_^)
