1/2 cup milk
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup chopped nuts
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix sugar, butter, cocoa, and milk in a large saucepan. Boil for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Stir until blended. Add rolled oats, nuts, vanilla, and salt. Put into 8"x8" square pan and chill. Cut into squares.

Would make this again.
I have been making these cookies for over 30 years since the recipe appeared in the Family circle magazine bouling for 3 mins was the original time in the recipe. I made them the first time because my sister is Penny. I drop the cookies on asheet of parchment. Making a batch in a few minutes, 5 stars

Would make this again.
I LOVE these cookies and make them all the time. Half of the time they are taken out of the fridge, while they are still cooling!, and eaten then. They NEVER last in my house more than two days. :) :) :) The BEST and EASIEST recipe EVER!!!!! 5 stars

made this because they got such good reviews.they are way toooo salty.don't even think they would be tastey without salt.sorry they are horriable. 1 star
