4 cups crushed graham crackers
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 cups shredded coconut
1 (13-ounce) can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup slivered almonds
12 oz. chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350F. Mix graham crackers, butter, and powdered sugar. Pat into the bottom of a 9"x13" pan. Bake 10 minutes. Mix coconut, milk, vanilla, and almonds. Pour over crust and bake 10 minutes at 350 F. In a double boiler over low heat melt chocolate chips and spread on top of bars. Cool. Cut into squares.

It looks to me like the recipe has a mistake in it. Probably the evaporated milk should really have said CONDENSED MILK. 5 stars
