8 ounces cream cheese (1 package)
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 18.5-ounce package yellow cake mix
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350 F (175 degrees C). In a medium bowl, cream together the cream cheese and butter. Stir in the egg and vanilla. Add cake mix, and stir until well blended. Roll into 1" balls and then roll the balls in the powdered sugar. Place 1 inch apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 13 minutes. Remove from baking sheets to cool on wire racks.

Would make this again.
Think it would've worked if we would've had the right amount of cake mix. Boxes don't come in 18.5oz :( it was 15.something ounces. tried adding powdered sugar and flour to thicken it but it was taking forever so we poured it in a cake pan and baked it and it turned out ok, just not what we wanted. 5 stars
