Send to a friendCream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in vanilla. Add flour; mix well. Stir in pecans. Shape rounded teaspoon of dough into balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes. Cool slightly; roll in confectioners' sugar.

I love these cookies. They melt in your mouth. But I use confectioners sugar in place of regular sugar and shape them into small squares with my hands instesd of the balls for a different look on my cookie tray.

Good flavor but mine turned out way too dry. I didn't have a problem with them flattening out they just were so dry they crumbled. Maybe next time I will try some more better and less flour.

Been making these for close to 35 years, learned to make them from my first girlfriend's mother. The only way to make them better is to use butter instead of margarine. Also if you use a tablespoon of vanilla instead of teaspoon they're just a little bit more flavorful.
