6 tablespoons shortening
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 cup butterscotch bits
Preheat oven to 350F. Cream shortening and sugar, add the rest in given order. Grease a 9" x 13" baking pan. Pour batter into pan, and bake 25 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes and then cut into squares.

Very easy to make and the best recipe I've tried so far. Trust me, I only bake things that are EASY. Then, I took them to work and set them on my desk for everyone -- TWICE. Whoo hoo!
