Horse Cookies


2 cups dry oatmeal
3/4 cup grain
3 cups bran
1 cup molasses

Mix oats, grain and bran together in a bucket. Drizzle in molasses while mixing with your hands. Place handfulls on a cookie sheet and bake at 375º for 8 minutes.

Would make this again.
They were hard to make. I used an ice cream scoop and made loosely packed mounds; decreased the oven temp to 325 and baked for 15 minutes. This made the dough a little easier to handle and the cookies stick together better. four stars

it was a little hard to make and i am baking them right now but i bet they will be great at the show tomorrow! four stars
