I hate to be the grinch, but this cookie dough was horrible- I had to add so much extra flour that it was ridiculous. The dough was so wet and very very hard to work with. Never Again-SORRY!!! 1 star

I found this recipe 5 years ago and am so glad I did! I now make several batches every Christmas season. My family and friends LOVE them and can not get enough!! I usually double the amount of nutmeg just to add more flavour. 5 stars

These are my favorite cookies to make at Christmas. I've been making these for years. Everyone that I make them for absolutely love them. Tehy may be a bit time consuming to make , but are well worth the work. 5 stars

I've been making these for the past (almost) two decades every single Christmas. They are my signature cookie. I always get recipe requests and people tell me to simply make them these cookies in lieu of a Christmas gift. I did find that they can simply be dropped rather than shaped. They don't look as pretty, but they still taste wonderful. I also never roll them on a floured surface. I just roll them between my floured hands. 5 stars

I have made kringla for years and so has my mom. This is a twist on it because we make it with sour cream intead of eggnog. These are great and my family said they taste like their grandmas sugar cookies even though they are a norwegian bread. We make them in figure 8's. I will make these again, thanks for the recipe. 5 stars

I absoulutly love this cookie, its wonderfull with a cup of hot cocoa. I'm sooo gratefull you have this in your collection! However, I would make one change/suggestion. DON'T pre heat your oven right away (as when the recipie says)untill after you've chilled the dough, otherwise you'll have your oven on for 4 hours!!! 5 stars

Thank you for having this recipe! I had lost it, too. It is just like the Kringla my Norwegian grandmother made, but with an eggnog flavor, which I love. 5 stars
