Butterscotch Haystacks

1 cup peanut butter
1/2 package or 6 oz butterscotch morsels
1 large can chow mein noodles

Melt peanut butter and butterscotch together. Can be done on the stove top or in a microwave. Pour over noodles; mix well. Drop by tablespoon on wax paper; freeze for a couple of hours. May be stored in a loose fitting topped cookie jar.

love these! i have been eating these for years. just about the easiest treats to make too! i recommend JIF for the peanut butter. its smoother and easier to mix in. five stars

i have been eating these things for close to 18 years now every Thanksgiving and Xmas.. for the past 6 years i have been making them for parties and they are always a BIG hit!!! will keep making them as long as there is butterscotch morsels, peanut butter and chow mein noodles...lol five stars

My family has made these for years. At least 44 yrs. hey are the most requested recipe of the family and the best loved by all of us. We add miniture marshmellows and that is it. Good to see that it is well recieved. five stars
