3-1/2 cups granulated sugar
1-1/2 cups (1 12-oz. can) evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 tablespoon white vinegar
2-1/2 cups crunchy peanut butter
1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow creme
In a 4-quart saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter, corn syrup, and vinegar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to full rolling boil; boil and stir 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter and marshmallow creme; stir until smooth. Spread into ungreased 13x9x2-inch pan; cool completely. Cut into squares. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.

This was too sticky for my liking. It was almost like a paste with nuts in it. It was closer to some kind of frosting than a fudge. I won't make this again.

The recipe is ok, but be aware that the fudge will be very "sticky" with a consistancey almost like cookie dough rather than fudge. I think that it would be fine if the recipe warned you of how gooey it is when finished.

Very tasty, but the cook time needs to be adjusted. Did not set up enough. I will try it again, but cook it longer.

Do not use natural peanut butter for this recipe. It's too runny and the fudge didn't set. I tried to salvage the recipe by adding some other ingredients but it didn't work. The whole thing was wasted...but it tasted good anyway.

I make this every year at Christmas. My husband loves it. I have a friend of my son asking for it weeks before Christmas. I use creamy peanut butter. I'm not a real big fan of peanut butter, but this is good!
